I only have four weeks on my paid membership and I don't know whether I'll renew or not.  What happens to my art if I don't?  I really appreciate the people I've met here--your feed back has been wonderful.  

It has been a wild year in my art and my personal life.  Surgery enabled me to walk freely again instead of with a cane and to garden without pain, so I have taken up dancing, My house has been on the market for a year but times are bad, and I am in the same boat as many others. I have come out of the tunnel of grief over the loss of my husband and feel freer with more energy and motivation then I have had in a long time.

I have started dating again and that is still a work in progress,  However God has blessed me with rich friendships and I have had the best summer in years, chock full of activities, social events and dancing to local blues bands.  

I have about 8 oil canvases started in various stage of completion and have been frustrated that I haven't finished one this year.   But I have taken to carrying a small sketch pad and pens with me and I draw constantly-- I call these doodles but they turn out pretty good.  Right now I am obsessed with trees.  I have been making jewelry and I have sold my first bracelet.  I also am painting on the pots of my potter friend.  These have promise of being very popular.  I have shown paintings in a local gallery, several art shows and on the internet and have sold 6 canvases and donated others to fundraisers.

I am in a better place than I was a year ago.  Thank you all.  This has been a wonderful experience.  God bless.
